Website FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

ACCOUNT (QUESTIONS ABOUT YOUR 4ANIME ACCOUNT)

- Where is the RegisteSign Up button?
After you click "Login", you can then click "Don't have an account?" under the login button.
- I did not receive my registration/password reset email, what can I do?
We are currently having problems with the email servers, your account will be created regardless of email confirmation for the moment being.
- How can I change my profile picture on site?
The current profile page is only a placeholder, we expect to incorporate more profile features in the future.
- How can I edit/delete my 4Anime account?
The site does not offer this functionality yet.
Message Wolfwood on Discord, and he will help you with your concern.

ADS (QUESTIONS ABOUT ADS AND HOW THEY WORK)

- I wanna support the site, but I don't have any money to, is there any other way I can?
Yes, when browsing the site, you can enable popunder, skyscraper, banner ads, or the new 10-Hourly Ad.
Pick which ones to enable if you wanna support the site.
- What are Popunder Ads?
Popunder Ads are once a day popup ads. You'll get the ad when it pops up, after that, it doesn't appear again until the next day.
- What are Skyscraper Ads?
Skyscraper Ads are very long-in-length ads that are displayed on the sides of your screen. You can disable them if you don't prefer them.
- What are Banner Ads?
A Banner Ad is a small ad that you'll see on one side of your screen. You can disable it if it displays content you don't want to see.
- What are 10-Hour Ads?
10-Hour Ad is a removable ad you'll get only on the homepage once very 10 hours, after that, you won't see it again until another 10 hours have passed. Click the x to remove it.
- Why am I getting weird pop ups while watching on phone?
These are the popup ads and can not be turned off on phone. The ads cannot harm your device in any way if you don't download anything from them. You do not need to click on them and can just watch your anime in fullscreen without a problem.
- I have been getting a lot of popups lately, what is going on?
We are currently having some issues with PayPal and Patreon where we needed more support from ads to keep the servers up.

ANIME (QUESTIONS ABOUT ANIME ON THE SITE)

- When is episode (number) of (currently airing anime) gonna be added to site?
We follow HorribleSubs' release schedule, and series usually appear on site ~15 minutes after released there.
- Can I request (currently ongoing anime) to be added if it isn't on the website?
Before requesting, check HorribleSubs' website for their schedule, and check if the anime isn't already on the site.
If it isn't there, we suggest to watch it on other available websites.
- Are there any Dubbed/English anime?
We do not offer dubbed anime, except for a couple handpicked series, which can be found here.
- Why isn't (anime) on the site?
Only airing anime is automatically added to the site. You can join the Discord server to request animes to the site.
Permissions to do so might fluctuate over time as the backlog shrinks and grows.
- The new (anime movie/film) just released in theaters, can you guys add it to the site now?!
We are unable to upload it until the blu-ray releases. A rip of said film recorded on a camera will not be uploaded. The release dates on MyAnimeList/AniList are the cinema/theatrical release dates, which differ from the blu-ray release.
- The quality of the series/movie I'm watching tends to dip in quality when I'm watching, why does this happen?
Streaming anime on 4anime requires at least a decent internet connection to not impact streaming performance, we don't have very strong servers at the moment, but are working towards it.
- Is there a movie section, so I can only find movies?
You can find movies [here]. You can also use the "Browse" section, and filter your results to movies manually.
You can also click the word "Movie" when you're viewing the page for a movie on the website.
- Will site originals (Netflix, CrunchyRoll Originals, Amazon, etc.) be on the website?
Yes, in fact some from Netflix are already available!

BUGS & TROUBLESHOOTING (QUESTIONS ABOUT BUGS, ERRORS, & ISSUES)

- Why did my anime progress disappear?
The progress tracking is currently cache based, meaning it is stored in your browser. If you've reset your cache they will therefore be removed. Having progress be tied to your account is on the roadmap for the future.
- The subtitles consist of a bunch of random numbers/characters that cover up the screen, can you fix this?
Issues during encoding can cause these visual bugs, please use the "Report" button under the video player or report the series/movie to the Discord so that it can be reencoded.
- The audio and video are desynced, can you fix this?
Its an issue with the encoding, please use the "Report" button under the video player or report the series/movie to the Discord so that it can be reencoded.
- Sometimes when I try to enter the site, I get some kind or error, is the problem on my end.
Most of the time yes. The issue could stem from your general internet connection, your Internet Service Provider (ISP) blocking the website, or some other smaller issues.
- I'm using the website on my non-computemobile device (TV of some kind, console, etc.), and its not working properly, what do I do?
4anime isn't optimized to run on every device known to man, so anything outside of PCs, Phones, and Tablets is a grey area. Performance and functionality differs depending on what other method of watching you're using.
- I've found a bug/issue/error with the anime I'm watching that doesn't apply to the following above, what do I do?
Use the "Report" button under the video player, or if you're already in the Discord server, report it there.
- I've found a bug/issue/error with the website, that isn't related to the series/movie I'm watching, what do I do?
Whatever you've encountered on the website you think should be fixed, please report it to the Discord server.

DONATION (QUESTIONS ABOUT DONATING OR SUPPORTING THE SITE)

- I wanna support the site financially, where can I do so?
We prefer payment through Patreon, but you can also make donations through PayPal, or via Bitcoin.
- What are the benefits of being a Donator?
By donating one of the tiers on Patreon (Donating via PayPal or Bitcoin won't get you any benefits unfortunately, but we still appreciate your donation) you get the "Donator" role on the server.
After donating, contact Wolfwood on Discord and he will grant your user access to it's own server on site, which has less traffic than the other ones.
- Is my user on the donator server?
You can tell if you're using the donator server or not by the color of your username on site.
A red username indicates that you are currently using the donator server, while normal users have their color set to Grey.

DOWNLOADING (QUESTIONS ABOUT DOWNLOADING ANIME)

- How do I download anime?
Clicking the download button sends you the raw mp4 file for the episode. You can download this file by right clicking the button and pressing "Download link".
- Why does the download button only let me download 1 episode at a time?
4Anime is primarily a streaming service, and we do not specialize in downloading. To preserve bandwidth we prevent mass downloading.
If you need to do this we would suggest using a torrenting site, such as Nyaa.

FEATURES (QUESTIONS ABOUT SITE FEATURES)

- Is there support for MyAnimeList or AniList integration?
Not currently.
- Is there a 4anime App for my mobile phone/tablet?
Not currently, but but the possibility is being considered.
- Will there be a "Skip Intro/Opening" button in the future?
The addition of it is extremely unlikely, as we'd have to go the tremendous effort to go through hundreds of anime, and pinpoint when an opening starts and ends, it would essentially be a pain to implement. Openings are usually 90 seconds for the most part.
- The Bookmark system seems kinda barren, is there any work being done on it?
Yes, the Bookmark functionality is going to be completely overhauled, it is a work in progress.
- Is there a way to change the streaming quality? (360p, 480p, 720p, etc.)
To save on storage space, we only provide 1080p streaming quality.
- Is there an option for Casting?
When pressing play, a cast button should appear in one of the corners. Support may vary depending on which browser you are using.
- What does the "Random" and "A&M" switches do?
"Random" adds a row of randomly generated anime on the frontpage, while "A&M" generates one random anime and movie.
You can refresh the anime given to you by clicking the icon in the top right corner.
- What is the "Hall of Fame"?
The Hall of Fame displays the most popular series ranked by view count.
- How does the Popular This Week section work?
The Popular this Week section is ranked by view count for a 7-day period, and resets back to zero after that period.
- How does the search system work?
For popular anime at least, you can search by their Japanese (Romaji) name, English name, and some common abbreviations.
Example being Attack on Titan. You can search "Shingeki no Kyojin", "Attack on Titan", and "AOT".
Plans to have EVERY English, Japanese, Romaji, and Localized name (Example: "Detective Conan" is the English translated name of "Meitantei Conan", its japanese title, while "Case Closed" is the official title used in English) is in the works.
- Some features seem unfinished or aren't fully developed, are they being worked on?
Yes, the website is run by one person, so when work on something is being done, everything else has to sit in the back temporarily.
- There's a feature I think would be make the site better, where can I request such a thing?
You can suggest features on our Discord server, and depending on the feature, it may one day become a reality! Do keep in mind that if its been requested a ton before, there's already a chance we've seen the demand. Suggestions for realizable features (or already deconfirmed features) will be IGNORED.
- Why does the schedule link to an external site?
HorribleSubs supply the site with subbed animes, therefore we link to their official release schedule.

Why AMP is a threat to the Open Web

What is AMP?
AMP is an open-source web component framework developed by the AMP Open Source Project, first announced by Google in 2015 as a reaction to Facebook’s Instant Articles and Apple News. While it was originally aimed at accelerating mobile pages (hence AMP), it’s now a much broader project aimed at improving the UX of websites, stories, ads and mail. The AMP framework consists of three components: AMP HTML, which is standard HTML markup with web components; AMP JavaScript, which manages resource loading; and AMP caches, which serves and validates AMP pages.
In plain English: AMP is Google’s attempt at making pages (and more) faster. They did a good job, pages built with the AMP framework will normally load faster. However, as this article explains, you won’t notice much of a difference unless the AMP library is served using the AMP cache, but more on that later.
The controversies with cached AMP pages
The AMP format is itself not much of a problem. In fact, we should applaud search engines that give ranking preference to fast-loading pages like AMP, but four aspects of its implementation are flawed:
  1. Google mobile Search’s Top Stories carousel has a premium position above of all other results, which is only accessible for AMP pages. These pages have to use a technology that was build and maintained mostly by Google (of the top 10 contributors to the AMP project on GitHub, 9 are Google employees), are then served by Google from their infrastructure and placed within a Google controlled user experience. And since this carousel generates a lot of clicks and revenue, publishers are left no choice but to embrace AMP. This has the effect of further reinforcing Google’s dominance of the Web. Fortunately, Google has announced that it's working on opening up the Top Stories carousel to non-AMP pages in 2021.
  2. The biggest performance boost doesn’t come from the AMP framework, but from preloading the page. It begs the question: Should preloading really be exclusive to AMP? They could introduce a way for publishers to allow or disallow preloading and if Google sees fit, they could preload those pages too, alongside AMP.
  3. When a user navigates from Google to a piece of content Google has recommended (or when a user clicks on a shared cached AMP link), they are, unwittingly, remaining within Google’s ecosystem and the publisher’s domain is obscured by the google.com/amp prefix. To work around this Google introduced Signed HTTP Exchanges ([Draft], [1], [2]), a web-standard that allows the browser to display the original site's URL, instead of the actual one (the one with the google.com/prefix). This would solve the original issue, but while doing so it introduced new ones (e.g. it obfuscates the fact that they're delivering the AMP page you're visiting). Interestingly enough, Google's Chrome already has support for this technology, but parties not involved with AMP are not so enthusiastic: Mozilla has deemed it a harmful web standard [2], and Apple has taken a similar stance.
  4. Google’s entire business model is about collecting as much personal data as possible, AMP is just another tool to do so. As described in Google’s Support article:
“When you use the Google AMP Viewer, Google and the publisher that made the AMP page may each collect data about you.”
The controversies with non-cached AMP pages
To be clear, the above flaws are only with AMP pages cached by Google (or another party like Bing or Cloudflare) but there are also plenty of pages simply utilizing the AMP framework, recognized by URLs such as bbc.com/news/amp/. However, these are also problematic, mainly because there's only a small performance improvement when AMP pages aren't cached and AMP pages tend to be less feature-rich and less diverse than their originals. And in some edge cases, it breaks stuff.
One could argue that the more popular the AMP framework becomes, the more AMP threatens the open web. That said, it should be clear that the biggest problem lies with the cached AMP pages.
AMP is open source, but that doesn't make it holy. Or as Ferdy Christant puts it quite nicely in his blog:
Google’s main defense is that AMP is open source. Which isn’t just a weak defense, it’s no defense at all. I can open source a plan for genocide. The term “open source” is meaningless if the thing that is open source is harmful.
Just so we’re clear, I’m not claiming Google or the AMP project is evil (hell, they might even have good intentions!), but the fact is that AMP and it's implementation have some major flaws that threaten the Open Web. And as long as that's the case, AmputatorBot will be there to remove AMP from your URLs.

There are good and bad things about every site out there, some I recommend here, others I will shit on, but I make nothing, own nothing, am not affiliated with any of them.
I have often been asked a LOT of questions by people looking for advertising and website help. I decided this was the best way to answer all the questions and help the community.
I hope you can learn something from this that helps you as you advertise or even better keeps you safe..
I worked for backpage for a long time, I helped start the bitcoin payment side of the site, I also helped start one of the backpage replacements. I have consulted on 2 other clone site startups, and to top it all off.. I owned a escort agency on the east coast from 2003 to 2011.
I owned my agency with 2 partners, I kinda fell into it. They needed computer help, I was a computer and marketing guy.
SO through all of that I am pretty sure I know a LOT about advertising for sex workers and the industry in general.
For Escorts and sexworkers things are very different in today’s post backpage.com and SESTA/FOSTA world. These changes and new laws are having serious effects on advertising adult services.
Here are a list of things to consider: Many of us remember Escorts.com, and Craigslist. Those were really the only places a SWr needed advertise. A simple $5 ad on Craiglsist could make an advertisers phone ring for days. A single ad on escorts.com could fill a schedule for weeks. Then Eros got big, it became as good if not better than escorts.com quickly, most often attracting the most quality clients.
Our Agency's used all 3, escorts., eros. and CL. At the time backpage was a shit site we didn't bother with... there were a FEW other sites we listed links to our own websites on, like southerngfe.com or openadultdirectory.com and a few others... more for SEO than anything else... they didn't bring much.. CL was all we needed. ECCIE was not big at all in our region then, so we never really used them.
Then it all started to change… CL took down the Adult services section. Escorts.com was raided and shuttered.
Backpage became king. I remember people paying just .25 cents to post an ad for a week on BP, then just days after CL closed it was $3? I had started working for Village Voice by then as a consultant, and was there when CL closed...
I got calls from my partners... usually by 1pm we had booked a few calls in each city (we were in 3) and had taken several dozen calls asking prices... we had booked ZERO that day and taken less than 5 calls... ALL from our website and google searches... our CL ads had not made phones ring once... they kept testing the phones... they all worked.
Then word came through from my office at BP that CL had pulled the plug... they put a big "CENSORED" label over the adult services tab... a few days later it was gone.
After the smoke cleared, there was only a few places you really needed to be on... cityguidex.com, eros.com, ECCIE (in certain regions) and backpage. That was it.
THere were a few other sites... and they were more regional... this is 2010/2011 I am talking about...
The only place a escort REALLY needed to post an ad was backpage… if another site popped up, the rule of thumb was simple… if no other SW’s are posting there… don’t bother… its not worth it.
Now lets be honest.. there are advertisers that could make a very nice living and book a lot of calls from just backpage... and there are the ones that would never could never... These were advertisers that had their own sites, charged upwards of 500/hr and did the fly me to you type stuff...
very few advertisers doing 150h/h calls off backpage have websites... we all know what I am talking about if you have been around at all.
During this time for the most part , Agency's in most citys started going out of business...
this was for a few reasons... 1. the yellow pages DIED! Smart phones KILLED the yellow pages. NO ONE USES A PHONE BOOK ANYMORE!! It cost a min of $10k up front to put even a small ad in the yellow pages... the agency's that could and did had ruled the escort world since the 80's... if you were a sexworker you worked for an agency because you couldn't get calls otherwise...(generally speaking)
suddenly CL and other sites like it made it so ANYone with a cell phone could run their own agency, or even better, go "independent"
And the indys and the independents and the internet sites like CL and backpage killed the agency's.
Clients looked at the math like this... lets say an agency charged $200/hr... the girl was usually getting a 50/50 split, so she took 100. They would then "charge" a tip of an avg of $100... so the girl got 200, the agency 100.. and the guy was out 300... but that same girl could post an ad saying 175/hr with NO upsell... and although yea... she made 25 less... she would book 10 times the calls and not have to split shit... guys wanted to deal direct to save and get more "bang" for their buck.. (pardon the pun)
So the internet was suddenly swamped with independents... at about the same time CL was king and then died... it was a crazy time... suddenly all these independents need a place to advertise, because its back to the agency's (pimps in a lot of cases) if they cant get calls... very few were gonna start their own websites, and if they did... how do they drive traffic? Backpage filled the void. ECCIE grew as did a few other sites
Again, I was working with them by now... and it was retarded. "Craigslist alternative" was one of the top google searched terms in the WORLD in sept 2010 when CL closed... think about that.
Of course BP starts charging more... and more... and more. They offered more features.. charging for all of them... and now it was a crazier time... all the other sites are either crap or being shut down. Eros was super expensive, and wanted your DL licence and more...
SO BP was king! But we all remember how that went... and come April of 2018.. BP is gone, and then the real shitshow started.
Bedpage.com, Onebackapge.com, Ibackpage.com Ebackpage.com backpage.cl the site I helped start with the backpagecredits.com guys was yesbackpage.com, then skipthegames.com cityguidex.com slixa.com tryst.link there was some gator site out of Australia, afterdarkads.com, eros.com had a knock off.. DOZENS of sites and I cant remember how many others have popped up and died in the past year... its been insane. I consulted on afterdarkads.com for payment systems, and they are doing great. Others are dying. ECCIE is doing better than ever
And ALL of the rules you thought you knew about advertising are gone.
Since the demise of backpage, there are literally dozens of sites popping up all jockeying to be the next backpage. The truth is… it will never happen. Some will have more success than others, some will fold, some will remain… but the new reality is there are now be dozens of places to advertise. I helped the girl making verified vixens... she has already shut down for a few months because she is underfunded and cant market the site right. (she says she will be back... it was a GREAT site)
The rule of thumb was that if you saw a site that you could advertise on, and there was no one else in your city/region... dont bother. ESPECIALLY if you had to pay...
So now, when you find a new site, and there is just a few ads you figure are fake there… should you ignore it and move on?
NO! advertising today is a different animal. An advertiser needs to have as many ads up in as many places as possible… and most importantly, needs to think and act like a client.
We here in the industry knew an hour after backpage closed… we were searching for alternatives immediately. There are clients out there that look for an escort maybe 1 time a year on vacation, or the guy that found his regular SW’r on backpage 2 years ago… and now is looking for a new one… they are searching for “backpage alternative” or “backpage replacement” (according to google analytics those are the TOP search terms related to sex work and backpage since April 2018) they are searching craiglslist personals replacement, or "new backpage" ...
You need to be on the sites that come up in those results, EVEN IF THERE IS NO ONE ELSE SMART ENOUGH TO POST AN AD THERE!!! The clients are searching using those terms…and dozens of others, and they are browsing the links they find… and they are not finding you! Why is that? You are not thinking like a client… you found bedpage… saw there was a ton of ads… and figured that if everyone else is posting there… I should as well. Bedpage used a bot to crawl backpage in the weeks before it closed, and copy/pasted the majority of ads it found to bedpage… MANY advertisers report getting calls and finding their ads posted on bedpage… and they did not create an account or post. MOST of the ads you are PAYING to compete with are fake... clients know it.. they are moving on from those sites FAST.
Sites like bedpage use to be having lots of success… they had a LOT of posts, and word got around to advertisers fast… BUT THE CLIENTS DIDN’T GET THE WORD! Yes, dedicated sex mongers that search for escorts daily know… and the guys that spend time on the boards and in forums know.. but the MAJORITY of clients are the guys that MIGHT call one or 2 times a year… they have never heard of usasexguide.nl or the otherboards.com… they are doing something simple… typing in backpage… finding its gone… then going to google, and typing “backpage alternative”.
And here is the next issue, Bedpage, ebackpage, ibackpage, yesbackpage… they all have a similar problem, they attract the WORST customers. The calls and texts looking for a $50 blow and go all come from sites like them. The guys that DO crawl through the dozens and dozens of fake ads end up just blasting texts to every phone they find (even tho you said no texts in the ad) 3 am msgs that say "hey" or even worse.. "blow me in my car for 50$" after demanding pics to "prove" you are real...
Advertisers today need to get on as many sites as they can. Get on all of them... ESPECIALLY the ones with hardly any ads. The unfortunate byproduct will be you will get those shitty messages.. part of the price you must pay for being in this industry...
Here is why: 1. Branding... Most of these clients are searching on dozens of sites for an escort... if they see you on afterdarkads.com, AND on tryst, AND then on eros., then AGAIN when they kick back to afterdarkads.com, AND then AGAIN when they find slixa.com ... and THEN they FINALLY decide to book.. was it really the ad on slixa that really did it? Or the fact they saw you everyplace and it helped him know you are real, not a fake ad? Was it the ease of finding your ad on a site like afterdarkads.com because they only had to sort through 5 or 6 ads? What was it that made him book? Do you REALLY think having just ONE ad on bedpage, because that's where everyone posts is the best idea? It was because he saw you over and over he was BRANDED and eventually booked.
Branding is this, what do you clean your ears with? NO, not q-tips... its a cotton swab, you have been branded. WHat do you blow your nose with? NO, not kleenex... its a tissue... you are branded. Whats "The best part of wake-ing up.......? its WHAT in your cup... yea.. its coffee.. but you just said Folgers... BRANDING... get in front of ALL the clients as often as possible... BRAND them to think of you when they think of an escort.
The MAJORITY of clients are searching for an escort or hire escorts just a few times a year... they have never heard of all these sites the way we have... a few years ago 1 ad on one site was all you needed... now escorts need 30 ads on 10 sites. Its the way it is.
  1. Simple odds... there are 20+ new sites online... if you are on just 3 of them.. what are your odds that perfect client looking for a girl/guy just like you finds you? Be on all 20 and your odds are much better. There are plenty of clients seeking a sexworker or escort that are only finding escort sites like afterdarkads.com or slixa.com , etc right now for the first time... and in most cities there are just 1 or 2 ads... the bigger cities a few more... if you posted a free ad on there last week.. that you didn't even need bump or pay to feature... he WILL find you... BUT, if you are not there... he will end up moving on, maybe even searching a dozen other sites with barley any posts... maybe give up, search for an agency... go to a strip club book your competition.. who knows. What I DO know is that every time you post an ad on another site... you increase your odds dramatically that you are found. REMEMBER, these clients don't know all the sites... who knows what site they will end up on. And if you are NOT on the ones they find.. there is 1000% chance they call you.
A great way to booking more is to get a website. There are a lot of VERY inexpensive ways to post one.. many advertisers cant or don't have the resources or ability's... be very careful with the services promising escort websites for money.
I am happy to walk you through some easy free steps that can get you on the right path, I will also build a simple free site, just cover the cost, The hosting I recommend will cost you about $10/month, the domain registration and privacy will be about $25 a year, for under $50 I will put a basic site online for you , and show you how to modify it and post to it form your phone. I want nothing for it... I am happy to help anyone in this industry. just PM me. Once you have one.. .LIST YOUR ESCORT WEBSITE ON ALL THE ESCORT SITES!
Another thing to beware of, MANY reports claim that bedpage, aka ebackpage, aka, ibackpage, aka, onebackpage, aka icracker aka yesbackpage (all the same few guys in India and Bangladesh) have all been known to of given access to advertiser accounts to law enforcement resulting in several arrests. Escorts in NY, TX, and Co all report the same thing, when they were arrested, LE had access to their ad account, showing IP’s they posted from (leading one agency to the actual incall location they also posted ads from) payment methods and more. Be CAREFUL with what you post... use a VPN, do NOT use any payment method that can be connected to you, Tryst has a secure system it looks like and you can use btc or gift cards. Most of the other sites accepting credit/debit cards are at risk... if you are paying with a CC, GET A GIFT CARD like vanilla visa and pay cash for it... afterdarkads.com uses a payment site called adacredits.com and allows payment via many ways that hide your identity like gift cards, Bedpage does something similar but I worry its out of india... but do NOT use your personal amazon acct to buy an amazon card to buy credits from any escort advertisement site. Don't use your CC to buy a best buy card or target card to get an ad on bedpage. . If a site is asking for you to use a debit credit card, or worse upload an ID as proof of anything, you are taking a HUGE risk. eventually a lot of these sites are gonna get raided or closed. or hacked... ( I see rumors yesbackpage just got hacked by one of the owner siddiqs little jerkoff programmers thiefs... lol) whatever info they have stored is all sitting there waiting to be exploited. BE CAREFUL
Use a VPN... ALWAYS. If you cant, get a burner smart phone from Walmart through straight talk.. DO NOT sign into your personal FB on that phone, or your reg email... you want that phone and everything on it to NEVER have any attachment to who you are. pay cash for it all and to reup monthly. INSTALL A VPN if you can. Ask for help here on how to do it.. your safety and freedom depend on this.
Its not just the gov you are hiding from... its clients that have tech backgrounds. I will promise you.. there are VERY few advertisers out there, that if I wanted to, I could get your real name, address, phone, birth-date, and MUCH more. There are THOUSANDS of people out there like me... Laugh if you want but its true. At least I am a decent guy, I don't see sexworkers myself, not that I find anything wrong with it at all.. I am safe, you dont need worry about me, But we all know there are PLENTY of weirdos out there that will stalk you, harass you, and then there are the ones that want to hurt you. Yea, the gov will use your information to arrest you or fuck with you... but those scumbags are killers that will rape you and stick you in a dumpster... BE CAREFUL. BE SAFE. BE SMART.
YOU NEED TO BE ADVERTISING A LOT AND OFTEN!!! Those days of 1 ad producing tons of results are OVER… unless backpage returns… you need to be posting a LOT… it is the new world we live in!! On MANY sites! tryst.link is a top result and is working hard to bring the traffic, they seem to care about advertisers. slixa is a great site but not a lot of results. you know the deal with most of the older backpage clones like bedpage. skip the games is REALLY solid. As I said I helped the girls that started afterdarkads.com, they like tryst care, are sexworkers themselves, and verify advertisers... you are not competing to post against fake ads on afterdarkads. They are doing a great job. Cityxguide is solid for the most part I can see, I hear that on the west coast they are killing it. There were a few guys from BP that went to work for them, I hear good things... You need to be on ALL of them and posting a LOT!! post 1 ad per day on EVERY single site that has daily posting EVEN IF YOU JUST POSTED THE ONLY AD YESTERDAY!!!! on sites like tryst with a profile, at a minimum 1 profile, its smart to have a second with dif pics and numbers... pics hiding a face, diff description... in one describe yourself as a sexy cute fun playful thing.. in the other describe yourself as a dominant sex machine... As sexworkers the best bet is to be a chameleon and adapt yourself to what the client is looking to pay for...
HAVE A SCREENING PROCESS!!! Most high end advertisers with their own websites have extensive screening processes... go find them, read their requirements... what will work for you? Mimic them.
Advertising after backpage is not as easy as it once was… it takes work… it takes INVESTING in yourself. EVERY dollar you spend advertising is an investment. Not enough money in your pocket? INVEST MORE!
I hope you get something that helps you from this. It is all my opinions based on many years in this industry and seeing a lot. I was very successful advertising my own agency and learned a lot. I am happy to answer any questions I can. PM or ask away here! Again PLEASE, be careful and be safe!

Mockingbird X.0

Imagine if there was one desk that all stories could cross so that, at 4am, a media plan could be decided upon and disseminated where all news outlets coordinated to set the goalposts of debate and hyper focused on specific issues to drive a narrative to control how you vote and how you spend money; where Internet shills were given marching orders in tandem to what was shown on television, printed in newspapers and spread throughout articles on the World Wide Web.
https://i.imgur.com/Elnci0M.png
In the past, we had Operation Mockingbird, where the program was supremely confident that it could control stories around the world, even in instructions to cover up any story about a possible “Yeti” sighting, should it turn out they were real.
https://i.imgur.com/121LXqy.png
If, in 1959, the government was confident in its ability to control a story about a Yeti, then what is their level of confidence in controlling stories, today?
https://i.imgur.com/jQFVYew.png
https://i.imgur.com/ZKMYGJj.png
In fact, we have a recent example of a situation similar to the Yeti. When Bill Clinton and Loretta Lynch met on the TARMAC to spike the Hillary email investigation, the FBI was so confident it wasn’t them, that their entire focus was finding the leaker, starting with searching within the local PD. We have documentation that demonstrates the state of mind of the confidence the upper levels of the FBI have when dealing with the media.

The marriage between mainstream media and government is a literal one and this arrangement is perfectly legal.
https://i.imgur.com/OAd4vpf.png
But, this problem extends far beyond politics; the private sector, the scientific community, even advice forums are shilled heavily. People are paid to cause anxiety, recommend people break up and otherwise sow depression and nervousness. This is due to a correlating force that employs “systems psychodynamics”, focusing on “tension centered” strategies to create “organizational paradoxes” by targeting people’s basic assumptions about the world around them to create division and provide distraction.

In this day and age, it is even easier to manage these concepts and push a controlled narrative from a central figure than it has ever been. Allen & Co is a “boutique investment firm” that managed the merger between Disney and Fox and operates as an overseeing force for nearly all media and Internet shill armies, while having it’s fingers in sports, social media, video games, health insurance, etc.

https://i.imgur.com/e5ZvFFJ.png
Former director of the CIA and Paul Brennan’s former superior George Tenet, holds the reigns of Allen & Co. The cast of characters involves a lot of the usual suspects.
https://i.imgur.com/3OlrX7G.png
In 1973, Allen & Company bought a stake in Columbia Pictures. When the business was sold in 1982 to Coca-Cola, it netted a significant profit. Since then, Herbert Allen, Jr. has had a place on Coca-Cola's board of directors.
Since its founding in 1982, the Allen & Company Sun Valley Conference has regularly drawn high-profile attendees such as Bill Gates, Warren Buffett, Rupert Murdoch, Barry Diller, Michael Eisner, Oprah Winfrey, Robert Johnson, Andy Grove, Richard Parsons, and Donald Keough.
Allen & Co. was one of ten underwriters for the Google initial public offering in 2004. In 2007, Allen was sole advisor to Activision in its $18 billion merger with Vivendi Games. In 2011, the New York Mets hired Allen & Co. to sell a minority stake of the team. That deal later fell apart. In November 2013, Allen & Co. was one of seven underwriters on the initial public offering of Twitter. Allen & Co. was the adviser of Facebook in its $19 billion acquisition of WhatsApp in February 2014.
In 2015, Allen & Co. was the advisor to Time Warner in its $80 billion 2015 merger with Charter Communications, AOL in its acquisition by Verizon, Centene Corporation in its $6.8 billion acquisition of Health Net, and eBay in its separation from PayPal.
In 2016, Allen & Co was the lead advisor to Time Warner in its $108 billion acquisition by AT&T, LinkedIn for its merger talks with Microsoft, Walmart in its $3.3 billion purchase of Jet.com, and Verizon in its $4.8 billion acquisition of Yahoo!. In 2017, Allen & Co. was the advisor to Chewy.com in PetSmart’s $3.35 billion purchase of the online retailer.
Allen & Co throws the Sun Valley Conference every year where you get a glimpse of who sows up. Harvey Weinstein, though a past visitor, was not invited last year.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Allen_%26_Company_Sun_Valley_Conference
Previous conference guests have included Bill and Melinda Gates, Warren and Susan Buffett, Tony Blair, Google founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin, Allen alumnus and former Philippine Senator Mar Roxas, Google Chairman Eric Schmidt, Quicken Loans Founder & Chairman Dan Gilbert, Yahoo! co-founder Jerry Yang, financier George Soros, Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, Media Mogul Rupert Murdoch, eBay CEO Meg Whitman, BET founder Robert Johnson, Time Warner Chairman Richard Parsons, Nike founder and chairman Phil Knight, Dell founder and CEO Michael Dell, NBA player LeBron James, Professor and Entrepreneur Sebastian Thrun, Governor Chris Christie, entertainer Dan Chandler, Katharine Graham of The Washington Post, Diane Sawyer, InterActiveCorp Chairman Barry Diller, Linkedin co-founder Reid Hoffman, entrepreneur Wences Casares, EXOR and FCA Chairman John Elkann, Sandro Salsano from Salsano Group, and Washington Post CEO Donald E. Graham, Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner, and Oprah Winfrey.

George Tenet, with the reigns of Allen & Co in his hands, is able to single-handedly steer the entire Mockingbird apparatus from cable television to video games to Internet shills from a singular location determining the spectrum of allowable debate. Not only are they able to target people’s conscious psychology, they can target people’s endocrine systems with food and pornography; where people are unaware, on a conscious level, of how their moods and behavior are being manipulated.
https://i.imgur.com/mA3MzTB.png
"The problem with George Tenet is that he doesn't seem to care to get his facts straight. He is not meticulous. He is willing to make up stories that suit his purposes and to suppress information that does not."
"Sadly but fittingly, 'At the Center of the Storm' is likely to remind us that sometimes what lies at the center of a storm is a deafening silence."
https://i.imgur.com/YHMJnnP.png
Tenet joined President-elect Bill Clinton's national security transition team in November 1992. Clinton appointed Tenet Senior Director for Intelligence Programs at the National Security Council, where he served from 1993 to 1995. Tenet was appointed Deputy Director of Central Intelligence in July 1995. Tenet held the position as the DCI from July 1997 to July 2004. Citing "personal reasons," Tenet submitted his resignation to President Bush on June 3, 2004. Tenet said his resignation "was a personal decision and had only one basis—in fact, the well-being of my wonderful family—nothing more and nothing less. In February 2008, he became a managing director at investment bank Allen & Company.

We have the documentation that demonstrates what these people could possibly be doing with all of these tools of manipulation at their fingertips.
The term for it is “covert political action” for which all media put before your eyes is used to serve as a veneer… a reality TV show facade of a darker modus operandum.

It is now clear that we are facing an implacable enemy whose avowed objective is world domination by whatever means and at whatever costs. There are no rules in such a game. Hitherto acceptable norms of human conduct do not apply. If the US is to survive, longstanding American concepts of "fair play" must be reconsidered. We must develop effective espionage and counterespionage services and must learn to subvert, sabotage and destroy our enemies by more clever, more sophisticated means than those used against us. It may become necessary that the American people be made acquainted with, understand and support this fundamentally repugnant philosophy.

Intelligence historian Jeffrey T. Richelson says the S.A. has covered a variety of missions. The group, which recently was reorganized, has had about 200 officers, divided among several groups: the Special Operations Group; the Foreign Training Group, which trains foreign police and intelligence officers; the Propaganda and Political Action Group, which handles disinformation; the Computer Operations Group, which handles information warfare; and the Proprietary Management Staff, which manages whatever companies the CIA sets up as covers for the S.A.
Scientology as a CIA Political Action Group – “It is a continuing arrangement…”: https://mikemcclaughry.wordpress.com/2015/08/25/scientology-as-a-cia-political-action-group-it-is-a-continuing-arrangement/
…Those operations we inaugurated in the years 1955-7 are still secret, but, for present purposes, I can say all that’s worth saying about them in a few sentences – after, that is, I offer these few words of wisdom. The ‘perfect’ political action operation is, by definition, uneventful. Nothing ‘happens’ in it. It is a continuing arrangement, neither a process nor a series of actions proceeding at a starting point and ending with a conclusion.

When you consider the number of forces that can be contained within a single “political action group” in the form on a “boutique investment firm,” where all sides of political arguments are predetermined by a selected group of actors who have been planted, compromised or leveraged in some way in order to control the way they spin their message.
https://i.imgur.com/tU4MD4S.png
The evidence of this coordinated effort is overwhelming and the “consensus” that you see on TV, in sports, in Hollywood, in the news and on the Internet is fabricated.
Under the guise of a fake account a posting is made which looks legitimate and is towards the truth is made - but the critical point is that it has a VERY WEAK PREMISE without substantive proof to back the posting. Once this is done then under alternative fake accounts a very strong position in your favour is slowly introduced over the life of the posting. It is IMPERATIVE that both sides are initially presented, so the uninformed reader cannot determine which side is the truth. As postings and replies are made the stronger 'evidence' or disinformation in your favour is slowly 'seeded in.'
Thus the uninformed reader will most likely develop the same position as you, and if their position is against you their opposition to your posting will be most likely dropped. However in some cases where the forum members are highly educated and can counter your disinformation with real facts and linked postings, you can then 'abort' the consensus cracking by initiating a 'forum slide.'
When you find yourself feeling like common sense and common courtesy aren’t as common as they ought to be, it is because there is a massive psychological operation controlled from the top down to ensure that as many people as possible are caught in a “tension based” mental loop that is inflicted on them by people acting with purpose to achieve goals that are not in the interest of the general population, but a method of operating in secret and corrupt manner without consequences.
Notice that Jeffrey Katzenberg, of Disney, who is intertwined with Allen & Co funds the Young Turks. He is the perfect example of the relationship between media and politics.
Katzenberg has also been involved in politics. With his active support of Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, he was called "one of Hollywood's premier political kingmakers and one of the Democratic Party's top national fundraisers."

Last week, former DreamWorks Animation CEO Jeffrey Katzenberg’s new mobile entertainment company WndrCo was part of a $20 million funding round in TYT Network, which oversees 30 news and commentary shows covering politics, pop culture, sports and more. This includes the flagship “The Young Turks” program that streams live on YouTube every day. Other investors in the round included venture capital firms Greycroft Partners, E.ventures and 3L Capital, which led the round. This brings total funding for Young Turks to $24 million.

Hollywood activism long has been depicted as a club controlled by a handful of powerful white men: Katzenberg, Spielberg, Lear, David Geffen, Haim Saban and Bob Iger are the names most often mentioned. But a new generation of power brokers is ascendant, including J.J. Abrams and his wife, Katie McGrath, cited for their personal donations and bundling skills; Shonda Rhimes, who held a get-out-the-vote rally at USC's Galen Center on Sept. 28 that drew 10,000 people; CAA's Darnell Strom, who has hosted events for Nevada congresswoman Jacky Rosen and Arizona congresswoman Kyrsten Sinema; and former Spotify executive Troy Carter, who held three fundraisers for Maryland gubernatorial candidate Ben Jealous (Carter also was a fundraiser for President Obama).

Viacom, after splitting off from Les Moonves Les Moonves ' CBS , still holds Paramount Pictures, and that movie studio in December agreed to acquire DreamWorks SKG, the creative shop founded by the Hollywood triumvirate of Steven Spielberg, David Geffen and Jeffrey Katzenberg (a former exec at The Walt Disney Co.). DreamWorks Animation had been spun off into a separate company.
Now it's time for Freston to make back some money--and who better to do a little business with than George Soros? The billionaire financier leads a consortium of Soros Strategic Partners LP and Dune Entertainment II LLC, which together are buying the DreamWorks library--a collection of 59 flicks, including Saving Private Ryan, Gladiator, and American Beauty.
The money you spend on media and junk food and in taxes goes to these groups who then decide how best to market at you so that they decide how you vote by creating a fake consensus to trick into thinking that you want something other than what is best for you; but will inevitably result in more money being funneled to the top, creating further separation between the super rich and the average person. The goal will be to assert creeping authoritarianism by generating outrage against policies and issues they hate. Part of manipulating your basic assumptions is also to use schadenfreude (think canned laughter on TV) against characters who support the cause that might actually do you the most good (which reaffirms and strengthens your confirmation biased along predetermined political lines).

We have a population being taught to hate socialism and love capitalism when the truth is no country is practicing either. These terms are merely disguises for political oligarchies where the collection of wealth is less about getting themselves rich and more about keeping everyone else poor.
What can you guess about the world around you if it turned out that every consensus that was forced on you was fake?
How much money would it take to make it look like 51% of the Internet believed in completely idiotic ideas? Combine shill operations with automation and AI’s, and the cost becomes a good investment relative to the return when measured in political power.
Even the people who are well intentioned and very vocal do not have to consciously be aware that they are working for a political action group. A covert political group will always prefer an unwitting tool to help push their agenda, so that they can remain in the shadows.

NordVPN is among our top-performing VPN companies. They even use a generous simultaneous connection count, with six synchronised connections through their network, where almost everyone else deals five or less.
NordVPN's network isn't as big as some of their competitors, so if you're attempting to obfuscate your tracks, you might want a company with more servers. Otherwise, this business is plainly offering a winning offering.
Their finest plan is 1-year membership strategy: $6.99 ($ 83.88). While their month-to-month price of $11.95 is at the high-end of the spectrum, their annual price of $83.88 is lower than a lot of our competitors. CyberGhost has actually been around because 2011 and has come out strongly as an advocate of "civil rights, a complimentary society, and an uncensored Internet culture." We truly liked how the company specifically showcases, on their Website, how folks usually prevented from accessing such essential services as Facebook and YouTube can bring those services into their lives by means of a VPN.
The company has strong Linux assistance, supports VPN through routers, and has a solution for the popular Kodi media player. They mark off all the boxes on procedure support and get congratulations for offering a connection kill switch function, in addition to supporting P2P and BitTorrent in most nations.
Still, the few extra dollars deserve it. We liked how the business offers custom-made app security, IPV5 support and DNS, IP, and WebRTC leakage prevention. CyberGhost also picked up points for preserving privacy by not logging connection information.

A big win for IPVanish is the reality that the business keeps no logs. Absolutely no. We also like the business's stance towards privacy. They even supply support to EFF, the Electronic Frontier Foundation, a not-for-profit at the front lines of securing online personal privacy.
An unique feature of IPVanish, and one we're extremely interested by, is the VPN's assistance of Kodi, the open-source media streaming app that was as soon as referred to as XBMC. Any severe media fan has used or constructed Kodi or XBMC into a media player, and the integrated IPVanish Kodi plugin provides access to media worldwide.
At $7.50/ month and $58.49 for a year, they're undoubtedly attempting to move you towards their annual program. We awarded the business congratulations for Bitcoin support, and their money-back guarantee. We're a little disappointed that they just allow a 7-day trial, instead of a full 30-days. Symantec, long understood for quality in security items, has a fairly minimal offering in its VPN item. It does not support P2P or BitTorrent, it does not have a kill switch feature, and it does not support Linux, routers or set leading boxes.
On the other hand, it's a VPN product from Symantec, a publicly-traded business with a clearly recorded management team. In many software application classifications, this might not be a notable advantage, but in the VPN world, where most companies have shadowy management and impossible-to-track-down ownership structures, it's revitalizing to understand exactly who we're handling and understand through independent sources (the company's annual filing, the SEC, and analyst reports) that the company is reliable and liable.

HotSpot Shield is an item that has actually had some ups and downs in regards to our editorial protection. Back in 2016, they picked up some really favorable protection based upon founder David Gorodyansky remarks about protecting user personal privacy. Then, in 2017, a personal privacy group implicated the company of spying on user traffic, an accusation the company flatly denies. Lastly, just this year, ZDNet uncovered a flaw in the company's software that exposed users. Thankfully, that was repaired right away.
So what are we to make from HotSpot Guard? Frankly, the debate caused us to drop them from our directory for a while. However they approached us, made a strong case for their ongoing dedication to privacy, and we chose to give them another chance.
Here's the good news. They use one of the very best money-back warranty we have actually seen for VPN services, a complete 45-days. They support Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android, along with plugins for Chrome and Firefox. They also support routers and media players (but not Linux). And, as a reward, they have a connection kill switch feature.
The business does not support P2P or BitTorrent-- and they also don't support the OpenVPN. Every other supplier does, but HotSpot Shield limits its protocol assistance to L2TP/IPSec and something they call Hydra, an enhancement of the transport protocol.
Overall, the company did impress us with their attention to personal privacy. They have actually a released personal privacy canary. They likewise informed us, "We have actually integrated in malware, phishing and spam security. Our dedication to our users is that Hotspot Guard will never ever keep, log, or share your real IP address.".

We like how HMA provides assistance on a wide variety of devices consisting of video game consoles. We gave them kudos for bitcoin support, and their outstanding money-back guarantee. They did make us frown a bit since they do log connection data. They also use five synchronised connections.

I needed to know why Goose VPN was so named. My very first order of business was to connect to the company's co-founder and ask. Geese, I was told, make exceptional guard animals. There are records of guard geese providing the alarm in ancient Rome when the Gauls assaulted. Geese have been utilized to secure an US Air Defense Command base in Germany and a brewery in Scotland.
It's clear that the goose is an ideal mascot for a service that's suggested to guard your digital communications. And so, we have Goose VPN.
Goose VPN has a number of standout features. Initially, you can have a limitless variety of synchronised connections (or gadgets) using the VPN at once. Second, if your bandwidth requirements are 50 GB or less per month, you can register for $2.99/ month, the most inexpensive monthly rate we have actually seen.
If you desire unlimited bandwidth, the company definitely is pushing you towards purchasing a year at a time. If you want to run your whole home or office on Surfshark's VPN, you don't have to worry about the number of gadgets you have on or linked. They also use anti-malware, advertisement stopping and tracker blocking as part of their software application.
The company has a solid variety of app support, running on Mac, Windows, iOS, Android, FireTV, and through routers. We particularly like the feature that permits you to whitelist certain apps and websites to instantly bypass the VPN. For some service usage, this can be seriously crucial.
Surfshark also offers three special modes developed for those who wish to get around limitations and more thoroughly hide their online footsteps. Camouflage Mode masks your VPN activity so your ISP does not know you're utilizing a VPN. MultiHop dives your connection through multiple nations to hide your trail. Lastly, NoBorders Mode "allows [you] to successfully use Surfshark in restrictive areas." Just be careful. Doing any of these three things might be illegal in your nation and could lead to really extreme penalties.

Beginning rate: $39.99.
As VPN services go, Webroot WiFi Security is relatively bare-bones-- but it's also low-cost. Starting at $39.99 for a year of VPN service, you can get a package with both VPN and Webroot's antivirus software for $69.98 for your very first year. Sadly, both of these costs bump up after the first year. VPN security leaps to $59.99 and the package jumps to $119.98.
While we praise the combination of VPN and anti-viruses in one package, Webroot has had a troubled few years. In 2017, it wrongly flagged Windows' system files as malicious. In 2018, a kernel exploit was found in the business's Mac anti-virus client. In 2019, the company was acquired by backup company Carbonite.
If you're only safeguarding a couple of gadgets and wish to conserve loan, Webroot's VPN might be for you. That $39.99 rate is for as much as three devices. If you wish to protect 5 devices, you'll require to pay $59.99 for a year and $79.99 after that. Honestly, as soon as you get in that price variety, there are products with more abilities readily available.
Webroot's VPN is also light on protocols. While they do link utilizing IKEv2 by default, they likewise provide L2TP and the very old and very insecure PPTP protocol (although they do warn that it's not "as" protect. Another concern for those of you who need deep security is that the business does log both which VPN server location you link to and the nation you connect from.
So who is Webroot's VPN for? If all you wish to do is protect your Wi-Fi connection while browsing in your local cafe or at a hotel, you only require to connect a couple of devices, and you wish to save money, this is a convenient alternative. However if you require a major VPN with deep capabilities, you'll want to look elsewhere in this directory. Likewise, we didn't discover any reference to a money back warranty, so check with their pre-sales and support prior to purchasing.

VPN FAQ
Since we're living in a connected world, security and privacy are critical to ensure our personal safety from nefarious hacks. From online banking to communicating with coworkers on a daily basis, we're now frequently transferring data on our computers and smartphones. It's extremely important to find ways of securing our digital life and for this reason, VPNs have become increasingly common.
What Is a VPN?
A virtual private network (VPN) is a technology that allows you to create a secure connection over a less-secure network between your computer and the internet. It protects your privacy by allowing you to anonymously appear to be anywhere you choose.
A VPN is beneficial because it guarantees an appropriate level of security and privacy to the connected systems. This is extremely useful when the existing network infrastructure alone cannot support it.
For example, when your computer is connected to a VPN, the computer acts as if it's also on the same network as the VPN. All of your online traffic is transferred over a secure connection to the VPN. The computer will then behave as if it's on that network, allowing you to securely gain access to local network resources. Regardless of your location, you'll be given permission to use the internet as if you were present at the VPN's location. This can be extremely beneficial for individuals using a public Wi-Fi.
Therefore, when you browse the internet while on a VPN, your computer will contact the website through an encrypted VPN service connection. The VPN will then forward the request for you and forward the response from the website back through a secure connection.
VPNs are really easy to use, and they're considered to be highly effective tools. They can be used to do a wide range of things. The most popular types of VPNs are remote-access VPNs and site-to-site VPNs.
What is a remote-access VPN?
A remote-access VPN uses public infrastructure like the internet to provide remote users secure access to their network. This is particularly important for organizations and their corporate networks. It's crucial when employees connect to a public hotspot and use the internet for sending work-related emails. A VPN client, on the user's computer or mobile device connects to a VPN gateway on the company's network. This gateway will typically require the device to authenticate its identity. It will then create a network link back to the device that allows it to reach internal network resources such as file servers, printers and intranets, as if it were on the same local network.
It usually relies on either Internet Protocol Security (IPsec) or Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) to secure the connection. However, SSL VPNs can also be used to supply secure access to a single application, rather than an entire internal network. Some VPNs also provide Layer 2 access to the target network; these will require a tunneling protocol like PPTP (Point-to-Point Tunneling Protocol) or L2TP (Layer 2 Tunneling Protocol) running across the base IPsec connection.
What is a site-to-site VPN?
This is when the VPN uses a gateway device to connect to the entire network in one location to a network in another location. The majority of site-to-site VPNs that connect over the internet use IPsec. Rather than using the public internet, it is also normal to use career multiprotocol label switching (MPLS) clouds as the main transport for site-to-site VPNs.
VPNs are often defined between specific computers, and in most cases, they are servers in separate data centers. However, new hybrid-access situations have now transformed the VPN gateway in the cloud, typically with a secure link from the cloud service provider into the internal network.
What is a mobile VPN?
A traditional VPN can affect the user experience when applied to wireless devices. It's best to use a mobile VPN to avoid slower speeds and data loss. A mobile VPN offers you a high level of security for the challenges of wireless communication. It can provide mobile devices with secure access to network resources and software applications on their wireless networks. It's good to use when you're facing coverage gaps, inter-network roaming, bandwidth issues, or limited battery life, memory or processing power.
Mobile VPNs are designed and optimized to ensure a seamless user experience when devices are switching networks or moving out of coverage. It generally has a smaller memory footprint, and because of that, it also requires less processing power than a traditional VPN. Therefore, it enables your applications to run faster while the battery pack is able to last longer.
A Mobile VPN is a worthwhile tool to have since it increases privacy, user satisfaction and productivity, while also reducing unforeseen support issues caused by wireless connectivity problems. The increasing usage of mobile devices and wireless connectivity make it more important to ensure that your data is being transferred through a secure network. It will allow you to access the internet, while staying safe behind a firewall that protects your privileged information.
Who needs a VPN?
Individuals that access the internet from a computer, tablet or smartphone will benefit from using a VPN. A VPN service will always boost your security by encrypting and anonymizing all of your online activity. Therefore, both private and business users can benefit from using a VPN. Communications that happen between the VPN server and your device are encrypted, so a hacker or website spying on you wouldn't know which web pages you access. They also won't be able to see private information like passwords, usernames and bank or shopping details and so on. Anyone that wants to protect their privacy and security online should use a VPN.
How to choose a VPN Service?
There's a vast range of VPN servers on the internet. Some are free, but the best ones require a monthly subscription. Before you decide to download a VPN, make sure you consider these factors for understanding a VPN:
Cost - VPNs aren't too pricey, but they vary from vendor to vendor. If your main concern is price, then go with something inexpensive, or free - like Spotflux Premium VPN or AnchorFree HotSpot Shield Elite. By all means, try a free server but they do have a few drawbacks since they attract a lot of users. Free servers are often slower, and since most are ad-supported, they place adverts on the online pages you access. Others can even limit the speed of your connection, as well as your online time or amount of data transferred.
It's also important to note that leading VPN providers such as NordVPN and Privacy Internet Access offer stronger security features to ensure you're digitally safe. When selecting a paid VPN service, always be sure to check which countries it operates servers in.
Reliability - Select a VPN that is reliable and read the reviews to make sure that it's capable of protecting you by providing you with sufficient online privacy.
High security - An effective VPN will have the following security features: 128-bit encryption, anonymous DNS servers and an absence of connection logs.
Are there any bandwidth limits? This can often be linked to price; paying more will generally provide more bandwidth with faster internet access.
Are apps for Android, iOS phones and tablets available? Apps for Android and iOS devices are also vulnerable, so make sure your VPN server can support them.
To ensure privacy, you want to make sure you have a VPN that doesn't store online logs. Some servers provide virus and spyware protection, and features like that can significantly increase your online safety.
Using a no-logs VPN service will provide you with a higher degree of security. It can protect you from blanket government surveillance and prevent your internet service provider from knowing your online activity.
Using a VPN for Netflix and other forbidden treasures
Online streaming services like Netflix and Hulu have been making it difficult for foreign users to access their content in other countries. Many people can get around region restrictions by using a VPN service to route your traffic through another country.
It can be quite simple to watch Netflix and other restricted goodies. You'll have to use a VPN service that allows you to get a unique IP address. This can often be available for an additional fee. Look for VPN services that offer a "dedicated IP address", "dedicated IP", or "static IP." Additional features like these will always allow you to access content from Netflix through a VPN service.
This is by far the easiest way to access your forbidden apps since there's no specific way to block VPN traffic.
A lot of people started using a VPN to evade geo-restrictions. But despite its forbidden benefits to users outside the US, a VPN is a great tool that can protect you and enhance your online experience over the internet by providing you with sufficient security and privacy. When it comes to selecting the best VPN, you have plenty of choices. There are many cost-effective VPN options, and all of them will vary in monthly offerings. Choosing the best VPN is easier once you narrow down the competition. The best indication of a good VPN service provider is that they have the right security and the right support in place for you.

Investigation of (Dis-)Favor 1\3 questioning freedom of will (in Macro-society)

This item began as a simple idea to investigate "social construct" theory, a trendy theme in academia and identity politics. It turned into a staggeringly complex constellation of ideas, with surprises galore.
The idea occurs to me: validate (or not) 'social construction' of beauty. If not, then sense of beauty is innate (source is not one's society, but genetic or other episocial influences).
Natural Tendency towards Beauty in Humans: Evidence from Binocular Rivalry 2016 | plos (technical study)
Reading in Contemporary Aesthetics "Why Beauty Still Cannot Be Measured", by Ossi Naukkarinen, because beauty is a personal determination, and a metaphor of favor, but how is it determined? Example: which of these women looks beautiful to you? note: only descriptor for the AI search is "beautiful woman", AI learns about beauty by sifting mega-data; how effective is it? (achieves given goal?) AI results are socially constructed in the most explicit way possible! Beauty may not be measurable, but it can be selected (parsed) from non-beauty. Measurement is a comparison of some phenomenon to an abstract dimension. Selection is a go, no-go choice.
What is Nudge theory? This item straddles the fence between Macro and Micro societies, paradigmatic Nudges come from Macro sources, but include an option to choose without pressure to conform. Micro sources are always more direct; which side of the fence are you on, friend?. (Greener side, of course.)
What about searching for "good", images? note how often the WORD good is pictured. Good is a language construct that must be interpreted from the individual's perspective.
Ok, now search for "favor" images note that AI mostly interprets favor as a small gift, not as a preference (which is difficult to represent by image)
Well then, search for "preference", images note that the word preference happens to be used by a line of hair care products from L'Oreal, which dominates the returns... commerce rules!
social construct (def, search result)

Is Socialism a social construct? (LoL) Socialism Defined (EVERY Country is Socialist!) 2.2k views Sep 29, 2019 Rokn'MrE
To (social) Construct, or Not to (social) Construct, is there a choice? (note most results are about gender)
Parsing gender
Discussion of gender is not my direction of choice in this part 1 investigation. I want to seek how an actor (esp. me) makes a choice, in a quest for freedom of will. Perhaps come back to gender in a future item.
person makes a choice, in a quest for freedom of will (selections available)
Exemplar Hyp (Harry) Frankfurt’s compatibilist theory of free will 2009 5pg.pdf
I notice my choice of article was partly determined, partly free, but parsing out those factors would be too much divergence from the goal here. But Truth (a two side coin) is my story, and I'm stickin' to it.
(previous link, compatibilism):
3 It explains our intuition that human beings, but not lower animals, have free will. Lower animals lack free will because they lack the second-order volitions which are constitutive of free will. (This item is unnecessary and probably not true; how do we know animals have no "second-order volitions"? Having no other language than "body", we can only surmise (guess) what their volitions are. Volitions come before actions, we cannot see them or interpret them in any way. Brain conditions might be interpreted with MRI scanning, but to put a subject in a scanning device is to prevent any other actions. Such measuring ruins the connection between mental state and volition being measured, except we can safely assume that every measurement of animals must default to the volition to escape the measuring device.)
That's the first-order, highlighted deviation from compatibility theory. Clarification of "second-order volition": a path from choice to action has an intermediate "middle-way" tunneling mode, contracting (taking on) a desire to make a choice, prior to making the choice. In order to prove freedom, one must establish the mental preference for an imagined outcome in order to prove that preference did come from within the person and was not forced by other external deciding factors (genetic factors are pre-determined).
incompatibilism Note: the approach is wrong by the universal assumption, IOW that the intersection of determined and free is zero. It's a supremacy position, or superposition principle (LoL), the error is in over-simplification. The Logic Argument (p.5) is not representative of reality, which is more nuanced. Therefore, Frankfurt's thesis is good (denial of incompatibilism), but not due to the case presented (superposition).
Take Frankfurt's case (p.4) of Black vs Jones4 to be analogy for State vs Individual. Silent Weapons for Quiet Wars (other sources exist, search for yourself)
The (myusername) determinism/free-will duality hypothesis (denial of incompatibilism due to non-zero intersection):
Most choices, including the choice of desires, are determined by contingencies of which one is the natural desire of the actor to optimize his/her outcomes ("best wishes"). Is a person always compelled to have best wishes? What is best depends on a person's mental state, which is usually determined by external factors, but those can vary in cogency (impact on behavior). Consider the choice to commit suicide, certainly not a trivial choice. (The Chosen means of execution (puns intended) is somewhat more trivial, but again, partly determined by external conditions.)
Some choices, nearly all trivial, are free because no interfering contingencies are apparent during the choosing interlude. It may happen in hindsight, that a past choice is observed to be a mistake, usually because some contingency was overlooked or unknown during the choosing. This observation should be remembered so as to avoid repeating a future choice like that mistake. Choices always have risks, including the choice to do nothing.
Different day, slightly different approach... parsing choice. 1 important choices that have many deep effects later, for instances a marriage partner, a new job, a new residence; 2 trivial choices which have minor effects, risks or physical involvement, for instances a choice of toothpaste at the market, to like or not a web-link or museum exhibit.
According to (myusername)'s determined/free paradigm, type 1 choices are nearly all determined by pre-existing conditions (not free). Type 2 choice is the arena of freedom. I suppose a person's low risk-aversion parameter could expand the envelope of freedom, but that's a characteristic that develops during maturation, one's history of choices and ensuing responses. Successful responses lead to more freedom, failures to less. So even when freedom exists, it accumulates a history (habits) which become a determinant.
Contracting the Social Construct Disorder (it's contagious) Take 1:
How does an actor (person in question who comes to an internal state, or inner-construct) interact with a community or society? Must it be IRL, or can virtual interaction suffice to construct internal states? And more to my point, must the interaction be two-way (containing feedback), or simply via broadcast medium? (broadcast includes published books, articles, records, radio, TV or Internet A/V shows, etc.)
Interaction with broadcast media can be summarized by: a choice, a degree of attention and focus (time spent on and attention given to item), a like/dislike or more complex reaction to item, having future behavior influenced by item, to continue a stream of behaviors (especially sequential item choices) as consequence of influence of item, to develop a complex of attitudes built upon stream of items (eg. just mentioned 'risk aversion parameter and habit).
Before going on, I notice that broadcast media is like Sunshine, Rain, and Grace. It is made available by participation in a community, and falls without curse or blessing, it's all there for the choosing (or ignoring), depending on the contingencies.
Mind control theory? (because mind is the inner source of volition... behavior, control the mind (easy), hence control the behaviors (difficult otherwise))
Mind control courtesy Tavistock Inst.
Construction of Favor (or any knowledge) upon Familiarity
What is Social Construction? (cntrlZ)
"For instance, trees are only differentiated from other plants by virtue of the fact that we have all learned to see them as "trees."
But we don't all know about trees to an equal degree. I know rather much about trees from my interaction with them: living among them, planting them, sawing them, moving them, burning them, etc., not from reading or talking about them. No doubt, there are many persons all over the world who have very little experience of trees, and cannot 'construct' treeness as well as me. Direct experience is more realistic and developed than social constructs.
Favor and Familiarity are interwoven by choice
I chose to live alone with trees and not alone with sea, or desert (for examples), because it was easier to go with trees. Was the choice free? I could have chosen city or suburb with even more ease than forest, so ease of choice was not the deciding factor, it was my preference of lonely forest over crowded urb that decided me. So maybe it wasn't really about trees, it was about independence or something else like that. When we choose, we may not understand the contingencies, but our decision (choice) may be due to habits or patterns that have developed in the maturity process. Habits are strong determinants, and they develop, according to Ian Plowman, 4 ways.
The cntrlZ article makes the case for 'Strong Social Construction' based on that 'knowing' which is all about language, certainly a social construct.
Within the social construction of language is the game. Outside the social construction is reality, the real world. (a list of social constructs follows)
That makes it clear. Experiences (direct ones) without resort to language are NOT social constructs. That observation makes another distinction clear: gender may be a social construct, as it's a language issue, but sex is not a social construct, it is a direct experience issue that develops in the maturation process: birth, infant, child, puberty, sexy adolescent, sexy adult, old (unsexy) adult, death. Prior to puberty, sex is incipient in its development, but comes to life, (like a flower blooms) after a decade or so. Knowing about sex as a child is by observation from outside (thru the looking glass), after puberty, it's direct experience, and much later, it's a fading memory.
Regarding Looking-glass self theory the notion of socially constructed identity (defining the self by differences/ affinities to others),
... the outcome of "taking the role of the other", the premise for which the self is actualized. Through interaction with others, we begin to develop an identity of our own as well as developing a capacity to empathize with others... Therefore, the concept of self-identity may be considered an example of a social construction.
... makes a spurious expansion of identity formation to include everyone (a unity), or nearly so. According to Reisman's Lonely Crowd, there is a triality of social nature, expounded by parsing people into tradition, inner, and other directed personalities. This theme was a scholar's response to the US trend toward consumerism and conformity to "norms", (local traditions, eg. "keeping up with the Joneses") mid-20th century. The social construct crowd would be Reisman's Other directed personality, which may truly be the majority, in USA certainly. However, the tradition-following and inner-directed personalities are a significant minority. Let's not ignore them (I'm in there.)

Are All Personality Descriptions Social Constructions? Sep.2019 | psytdy
... that objective reality does not directly reveal itself to us, is true beyond a doubt.
The preceding statement author, JA Johnson, is way off (and his article is full of falseness). Objective reality IS direct experience, no more revealing modality exists. Denial of this obvious fact (just lied about above) is a redefinition of the term (a social construct). Experience is beyond language, thus beyond 'description'. However the following is a true reveal about (((Yews))) (the like of whom Dr. Johnson seems):
It is true that when we describe someone with socially undesirable traits... we are constructing for them a social reputation that might decrease their chance of success in life. This is precisely one of the concerns of (((social constructivists, like Dr. Johnson))), that certain categorizations (eg. a separate race) reduce power and status.
Proof that Truth is not a social construct (relative to culture, like morality absolutely is)... What do you believe in? Cultural Relativism
Conformity is a social construct (should be obvious, it's a social source of choices). What causes conformity? Social interactions, which traditionally occurred (Macro-version) in newspapers, magazines, cinema and radio programs. As culture changed the popular media to radio, TV and then to Internet, and church attendance fell out of vogue, the advertising industry became more powerful in defining social constructs. That's why Internet censorship is so important.
Who are the 'influencers' in society? (They used to be parents, teachers, peers... now it seems to be YouTubers, like PewDiePie. But an intentionally underplayed contingent of influencers is the predominantly Left-Leaning academia, who collectively promote Marxist preferences and political activism toward Socialist positions. Academia is pushing social construction because it provides an intellectual framework that denies the old (social injustice), and says ok to their preferred ideology, Cultural Marxism (new social "just us"; socially constructed ideas can be anything you want, their cogency depends on efficacy of publication).
Micro-Social Constructs are most cogent (due to conformity being human nature), discussed in part 2.
Bottom Line (part 1)
If you like freedom, and are serious about it, you must distance yourself from society, because it tries to reconstruct you according to the norm... conform!

What is Social Proof?
Are Micro-societies any less 'constructing' than Macros? Or do some constructs exist for all realms, macro and micro? I think they are more constructing, because micros carry feedback, whereas macro is all absorption, individuals have negligible effects on society at large. They act in a statistical sense, with a few exceptions.
Concept vs Percept (concepts are stable mental recordings, and physical manifestations of them; percepts are changing sensations and reflexes which depend strongly on the situation, memories of which are variable too)
Favor, Good, and Beauty are words that belong in the same 'conceptual basket' (ward), they are alike, all refer to action 'like', as an affective (and affirmative) perception. Conversely for the word's opposites.
Perceptions are non-language reactions to stimuli, therefore not social constructs. They may be evoked into a social arena via language (or other virtual records), but these are only shadows of the perception, so what is evoked is drawn up from the receiver's own memories of perceptions.
Division of Labor (and role models) are Social Constructs
Sex is the most basic divider of labor, for all societies, especially the most primitive. As societies develop towards more technical, sex falls away from the divider, as natural talent and innate interest gain influence, until the basic operations of reproduction remain, the core division. What about rankings in the division?

Favor-Goodness-Beauty paradigm
Favor is not favored in prior art, Truth takes Favor's place in the Transcendental Spectrum: Transcendentals 5pg.pdf
We have already seen the idea in part 1 that Truth is a disputed transcendental in the social-constructionism academic universe. Academics use the "universal fallacy" that their favored item is part of an incompatible pair, which by logic excludes everything not in their favor. They want to ignore the nuances in order to push an ideology toward a supremacy of thinking, just like in a totalitarian state.
Whereas the (myusername) principle of Truth, it has a dual nature, 1 relative to a society (democratic consensus); and 2 absolute to reality (math/science/technology). So 'Favor' is a better term because objective proof (no contest) is not required (except the meaning of objective that says 'objection!', meaning 'contest'). 'Favor' implies bias which is the subjective reaction that matches Goodness and Beauty better than 'Truth'.
Apply Truth-Goodness-Beauty paradigm to social construction
it is unconcerned with ontological issues...
because the aim of constructionists is to justify a collective "truth" of their own construction. A social construct is not absolute, it's anything a society wants it to be ("social proof"). Living outside the 'Normitory" (away from Dreamland (everybody's asleep), to where Nessun Dorma (nobody sleeps))
It so happens that an ethnic group which originated in eastern Mediterranean Middle-East evolved to specialize in intelligence, commerce, morally corrupt enterprises, and crime. Essential to their success was eugenic traditions that applied artificial selection to just those same specialties, which makes this ethnic group a formidable enemy. They have developed a very strong sense of in-groupness, and a vested interest in social construct studies. A unified collective is a more effective competitor than an inchoate population of diverse individuals.
This group has as ethnic traits: global dispersion (aka Diaspora), preference for urban environments (aka Cosmopolitan, or Globalist), covert inter-group rivalry (aka InfoWar), and deception (aka MOSSAD). This cosmopolitan group must operate covertly and deceptively, because those are effective tactics, and they are a small minority (2% of USA), therefore weak in the democratic sense.

Is morality a social construct? If so, how can concepts such as 'good' exist? (note especially the links in top comment, to reddit posts)
"Good" can be understood as a variation of "Favor" as a direct experience (perception) of "like", rather than some idealized notion of an obvious social construct such as "greater good" (a theoretical derivation by interventionist actors-with-agendas trying to impose their own preferences upon others, IOW ideology hegemony pushers, for instance viz da wiz)
Cultural hegemony is the Chosen's mitzvah, that we all must go to Emerald City, land of Oz, where YHWH (impostor) rules.
Cultural hegemony
Concepts of Ideology, Hegemony, and Organic Intellectuals in Gramsci’s Marxism 1982
There is no universal morality. Morality is much like Beauty, in the mind of beholder (actor who holds to a specific moral code). Morality is a social construct, and varies between societies. (I think a fair definition of morality is a code of ethics which is community-specific.) For a society to sustain, it needs to be isolate from conflicting societies. If different societies, with different moralities must coexist, the natural tendency for actors in the same niche toward dominance will destroy or remake the subordinate societies, which reduces the conflicts.
Status Hierarchies: Do We Need Them? blog 2012 | psytd
a need for 'virtue signaling'? It's natural, and likely unavoidable, evidence pride displays.
Status Assignments: by birth (heredity) or merit (talent)?
Let's assume your morality values social effectiveness. The best path to that is to have talented persons dominant (meritocracy). Next we happen to know that talent is hereditary, but not perfectly so. Therefore birth (kinship, aka kingship) is only an indicator of talent, which is infrequent among low status groups, much higher among high status kinship groups. Thus we must conclude that awarding status by pedigree and family privilege is not the best way to effectiveness, but it often does work. What works best then, must be? a competitive system of merit-proving, with special attention to high-status families. (Helps if the natural tendency for snobbish repression is circumvented, for examples Han-style Civil Service Exams, and the Roman military promotion avenue, which occasionally led to top gun.)

Contracting the Social Construct Disorder Take 3
Different day from Take 2. Re-consider interactions with a community or society: traditionally occurred locally, on Sunday meetings at church, parties, having a beer after work, town hall or children's group meetings, (eg. PTA, scouts) etc.
Re-consider "contracting". Original idea was meant to acquire, like a disease, not by design (choice), but determined by contingency (unlucky chance). Today, "contracting" means getting smaller, shrinking, like a cooling branding iron, or melting ice. Iron has several crystalline phases, the cooler, the more compact (more atomic order). Ice is contrary to most materials, as its crystalline structure is larger than its liquid phase, so as it melts (entropy always increases, going to less ordered) its atoms become more fluid. In both cases, the natural mode of change is toward ambient temperature. This trend (recursion to the mean) is maybe the most unbroken law of all physics.
Re-considering "Disorder"; original idea was meant as a mental disease, like ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder), IOW anomalous condition, out-of-order, (order being assumed normal) in the human behavior dimension. Today it means individuals out-of-line, like discontinuities in a crystal. (Discontinuities are what make metal harder.)
When all the atoms of a metal are aligned (continuous), the state is called "annealed". This is the softest condition. When the metal has been "work hardened" by hammering, or forging, it acquires discontinuities (crystalline order becomes mucked up). This is a harder state. Hardness is measured by forcing a small ball into a test material and measuring the resulting depression (dent). Discontinuities resist dents and every other kind of deforming force (decreased plasticity (weakness) means increased elasticity and maximum yield (resilience, see Young's Modulus, Indentation hardness, Impact Toughness and Moh's Hardness)).
Now make analogy of metal with society. Non-conformist individuals (like followers of Marginotions) make society (if he-he-heeded) more resistant to outside forces (like George Soros, or seekers of Tikkun Olam) trying to make a dent in the established order (tradition, Protestant Ethic).
Contracting the Social Construct Disorder Take 4
Different day Re-consider "contracting" again. Today, it means make-a-deal, as in commercial contract. This kind of contract is in flux nowadays, as the advent of bitcoin has introduced a mathematical means of authorizing legal agreements (aka contracts) in a distributed ledger that makes such agreements social in a very direct sense. The social part of "social construct" is present in a world wide network of participating computer operators, while the construct part is present in a software package (app) that is now called "smart", meaning has built-in security and ongoing timely operations, like confirmation checking. In this contract-paradigm, the "disorder" part is due to it being outside of previous power-holding elites who are chagrined by the prospect of losing some of their powers to the Internetwork, which is out of their control. IOW disorder for elites, and made-to-order for independents. (note on that quote)
